Betty Kellum
Betty Kellum was raised in Tampa, FL, attended Hillsborough Community College and, in addition, studied there for her Real Estate Agent’s Exam. Relocating to North Florida in 1976, over the years she has helped throngs of buyers and sellers realize their own dreams and made many friends along the way.
Betty Kellum Realty was established in 1983 and has covered the Big Bend from the Georgia border to the Florida coast across five counties. The office is conveniently located in Havana, Florida, a short distance from the Florida-Georgia line and just minutes north of Tallahassee, the State Capital. Havana’s known as Florida’s friendliest small town. All this made it easy to grow the business while retaining a strong sense of the friendly community Betty calls home.
An astute business professional, Betty has developed/built commercial property in the downtown Historic District that now houses two other successful businesses, The Antique & Design Center, a regional landmark, and Kellum’s Furniture. All three concerns are proud members of Havana Main Street. From the beginning, the brokerage firm established and maintained a culture centered on experience, professionalism, exemplar customer service and satisfaction. Like Havana, Betty Kellum Realty is friendly and down-to-earth, treating clients and customers’ real estate needs with honesty and integrity while abiding by the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics.
Representing both existing and future homeowners, as well as commercial and land deals, Betty, former President of the Gadsden Board of Realtors and an active member of the Tallahassee Board, has become highly regarded by both her clients and professionals in the field. Her contacts and long-term residency leverage her enthusiasm and expertise for her clients. Betty is committed to listening to her clients’ needs. She utilizes her knowledge of the market, 35+ years of experience in home pricing, and keen negotiating skills to ensure a successful transaction.
It is our primary belief that everyone is our customer including the employees and agents who are a part of The Kellum Group Team. Betty sponsors, supports and frequently volunteers in community events held in downtown, where there are more than 50 specialty shops, galleries & museums stocked with everything from new furniture and vintage collectibles to some amazing art. Founded in 1906, the North Florida Arts Trail runs through town and includes many historic buildings and homes. Of course, after shopping and exploring, visitors enjoy resting and relaxing at one of Havana’s quaint cafés or restaurants and still others want to find a permanent or vacation home in this iconic locale. And that’s where Betty Kellum Realty comes in!
Betty’s priorities are faith, family and business. Her calendar is a testament to that! Always on the go, she is a member of the First Presbyterian Church, just celebrated her 60th wedding anniversary and she & Jim have 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
